Overview

Rhombus Systems is seeking a Product Manager to work with an empowered, cross-functional product teams to solve hard problems – customer and business problems – in ways our customers love yet work for our business. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, the ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual contributor, who will have hands-on experience at a fast-paced, successful startup, working with sales, partners, designers, and engineers to discover and deliver solutions that are both valuable and viable.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to product team knowledge of business constraints – marketing, sales, support, finance, legal, privacy, etc.
  • Contribute to product team deep knowledge of users and customers, and data about how they engage with our products.
  • Track industry trends and the competitive landscape as it pertains to the product
  • Collaborate closely with product designer and engineers to discover effective solutions and work together to deliver those solutions to market
  • Influence teammates, colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives, through use of data and logic
  • Other responsibilities include managing projects, analyzing user behaviors, conducting research, and managing customer feedback
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience 
  • Understand the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and delivery 
  • 3 years working on technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, engineer, data analyst, data scientist, or user research 
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing 
  • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative 
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship
  • Experience with technology partnerships, integrations, open APIs, and/or developer experiences is a plus.

$110,000 - $140,000 a year

This position is based in Sacramento, CA. Compensation is dependent on experience.
